Although
Rosemary
Clooney
was
a
highly
regarded
jazz
singer
until
her
death
in
June
2002,
she
started
her
career
singing
popular
tunes
of
the
day
with
her
sister
Betty
at
local
radio
stations
before
joining
the
Tony
Pastor
Band.
After
going
solo,
she
recorded
children's
songs,
country
and
western
and
finally
topped
the
charts
with
a
novelty
tune,
"Come
on-a
my
house".

is
the
early
phase
of
her
career
that

focuses
on

fun
pop
tunes
that
established
her
as
a
pop
star
