The Platters were an R&B group formed in the early 1950s who achieved four chart-topping hits and thirteen other Top 30 hits in their native USA. They were also hugely popular outside America especially in Great Britain where they regularly toured to sell-out houses. Whilst there are various of their "greatest hits" compilation CDs, this is the first time these two studio albums "Reflections" and "Life Is Just A Bowl Of Cherries!" are available "complete" on one CD, in stereo and digitally re-mastered. We have also included as a bonus track their chart-topper "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes".
