This set spans the twelve years of Lanza's brief career from two early live broadcasts to his final monaural recordings in 1957. All 49 tracks are offered for the first time in Digitally Extracted Stereo (DES), a technological breakthrough that enables mono recordings to be converted into multi-track stereo. With Lanza's voice now front and centre, and the orchestra surrounding rather than confining him, both emerge here with a previously unheard clarity and brilliance.
